Harbour Pointe Middle School reports confirmed case of COVID-19

District says only close contacts will be notified in the future

A confirmed case of COVID-19 meant some students at Harbour Pointe Middle School had to stay home for one day last week.

Harbour Pointe Middle School principal Steve Coram said in a letter to families that a person at the school tested positive for COVID-19, and that person was last on campus on Thursday, Sept. 9.

Families who had children determined to be close contacts were asked to keep their children home on Friday, Sept. 10. Students’ absences were excused and Friday was considered a non-school day.
