Boo Bash, holiday tree lighting set to return

Rosehill Community Center to fully reopen in September

The Mukilteo City Council on Monday unanimously approved a budget request of $30,000 for the Recreation and Cultural Services Department, paving the way for the return of some popular community events and the full reopening of Rosehill Community Center.

The additional $30,000 will be used to hire part-time staff, which will enable the City to host the Boo Bash, a children's Halloween event, and the holiday tree lighting. Both events were canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and would not have been held this year due to budget issues.
