City seeks pro/con ballot statement committee members for housing advisory measure

The City of Mukilteo is looking for people to serve pro and con committees for an upcoming housing advisory ballot measure.

The Mukilteo City Council approved draft language to place on the Nov. 2 ballot an advisory measure asking voters "Do you think the City should encourage more high density housing to be built in Mukilteo?"

The local voter's pamphlet will contain pro (supporting) and con (against) statements and rebuttals. The pro committee as a group will write a pro statement of up to 250 words and a 75-word rebuttal to the con committee statement; the con committee will write a 250...
