Muk Bucks program draws support from several councilmembers

The City Council seems to be generally supportive of finding a way to directly deposit funds into residents' pockets.
As part of the federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act passed in March, the City has been awarded nearly $6 million – $5,985,212. The City can use the funds in four broad categories – public health/negative economic impacts; premium pay (for essential workers); revenue loss; and infrastructure.
