Paine Field offers convenience, but also challenges for Mukilteo residents | Guest View

I fall into the category of progress in moderation. We should seek as much progress as we can achieve while limiting negative daily impact. 

From a quality of life perspective, Paine Field represents a narrow path of successful moderation. I have not lived immediately adjacent to the airport, and I recognize my personal experience has not had the same impact I've heard described by some of my friends in near-by neighborhoods who have concerns about increased jet noise.

My vote will go to the candidates who will make reducing the noise and air pollution coming Paine Field their main focus, with their bias towards supporting the residents affected, not the airport. Buying tickets to fly out of Paine Field does not help our cause, no matter how convenient.
