Good sports: Kamiak's Unified Basketball teams face off

In a year of change and uncertainty, Kamiak's Unified Sports program continues to grow.
Unified coach Georgia McClaskey said the program had enough players to field four basketball teams last year. With 55 athletes out, the Knights fielded six teams this year.
The biggest game of the season usually is against district rival Mariner, but because of restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kamiak instead decided to host an intrasquad game Tuesday, June 1.
For about two hours, players and spectators were able to forget about the problems of the world and just play some hoops.
