Gov. Jay Inslee visited the new Mukilteo ferry terminal Monday, June 7, during a visit to Snohomish County. The new terminal cost $187 million, and is the state's first in 40 years. Inslee described the terminal as a showcase and told a brief story of how he recently was at a fast food restaurant and overheard someone praising the Mukilteo terminal. Inslee (fourth from left) poses in front of Native American artwork with Washington State Ferries Chief of Staff Nicole McIntosh, WSF assistant secretary Patty Rubstello, Secretary of Transportation Roger Millar, State Rep. Lillian Ortiz-Self, State Rep. Strom Peterson and Mukilteo Mayor Jennifer Gregerson.
