Mukilteo honors veterans during Memorial Day ceremony

Community gathers for one of city's first large-scale, in-person events

Memorial Day 2021 was a day for the community to reflect and pay tribute to those fallen members of the military who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

More than 75 people attended the Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 31, at Pioneer Cemetery, one of the first large-scale, in-person events in Mukilteo.

Mayor Jennifer Gregerson paid tribute to those who served in the military and their families. Gregerson noted she was fortunate that both her grandfathers returned safely home to their families after their military service.
