Kamiak has a lot on the agenda in a shortened five-week spring season of basketball.
The Knights welcomed a new coach in Maybelle Tupua, installed a new offensive system, and have a varsity roster featuring mostly players who moved up from the junior varsity squad.
"So far, so good," said Tupua, previously the junior varsity coach at Lynnwood for three years.
The Knights (1-1) opened the season with a 47-18 road victory over Shorecrest Wednesday, May 12, and then dropped a 47-42 contest to Edmonds-Woodway Friday, May 14, in their home opener.
