Seniors propel the Knights past Cougars | Softball

Kamiak's seniors made sure Senior Night was a success.

Pitcher Katelyn Sonnichsen pitched a complete-game shutout, and Sara Schnurman and Jaydn Bushnell each drove in a run to lead the Knights to a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Lakewood in a Wesco softball game Friday, April 30, at Kamiak High School.

Schnurman also made the defensive play of the game in the third inning with a diving catch that robbed a Lakewood hitter of a base hit.

Senior co-captain Camryn Robinson said the Knights played their best defensive game of the season,
