Help for Mukilteo residents and businesses is on the way.
As part of the federal American Rescue Plan Act, Mukilteo will be receiving about $4.6 million to assist with the City's recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
More specific details on how the City can use the funds is expected to be released later this month, but the guidelines are expected to be fairly flexible.
During an April 27 town hall meeting, Mayor Jennifer Gregerson added that unlike the previous Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES), the City will have more time to use the funding – the end of 2024....
