More than ever, we need to be taking care of our mental health. If we can all be honest with ourselves, we know that COVID-19 has affected all of our mental health to some degree. In the wake of COVID-19, millions of people have uncovered new mental health issues and millions more have had their existing challenges exacerbated.
Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. In 2019, 47,511 Americans died by suicide, of which 90% of those had a diagnosable mental health condition, and there were an estimated 1.38 million suicide attempts. We must take steps now to meet the needs of...
