Driver alert: Paving to cause delay on the waterfront

Expect paving this week on the waterfront to cause delays during peak hours

Drivers should brace themselves for delays if they are in the waterfront area.

During the last two weeks of April, crews are scheduled to begin paving the permanent roadway (First Street) that links the new Mukilteo terminal to SR-525/Mukilteo Speedway. Work is penciled for April 21-23 and possibly April 26-27.

Washington State Ferries (WSF) suggests traveling during off-peak hours or, if you can't, allow extra time during peak hours. These dates can change as the work is weather-dependent.
