Community Cat Coalition hosts Cat Day at the Dog Park

These two kittens were trapped by members of the Community Cat Coalition this year. The two were part of a group of 10 cats and kittens living near Mukilteo Boulevard in Everett.

They say cats and dogs don't mix.

That old adage won't apply this Saturday when the Community Cat Coalition hosts its inaugural Cat Day at the Dog Park.

The informational and educational event is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 17, at the Mukilteo Dog Park, 1301 Fifth St.

Cat lovers will be able to find out about the array of resources that the Community Cat Coalition provides to the community, and also learn about the coalition partners Canopy Cat Rescue and PAWS with a Cause.

Information about nearby emergency animal services and pet grooming (including for dogs) also will be provided. The orga...
