Students encouraged to apply for Rotary Club of South Everett Mukilteo academic scholarships | School Brief

The Rotary Club of South Everett – Mukilteo will provide over $25,000 in academic scholarships in 2021 to high school seniors from Kamiak, Mariner, Cascade and Aces high schools who plan to further their education at a four-year college, community college or vocational training institution.
Applications are now available at the career centers at each school (and via the link below) and are due April 16. After review of applicant's submissions, the Rotary evaluation committee will select finalists for in-person interviews with committee members prior to selecting final scholarship recipients.
The scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:
• Commitment to Academics:
o A 3.0 cumulative GPA or better is required.
o Evidence of education as a priority with clear goals for future education
• Commitment to Service:
o Active involvement in extra-curricular activities at school and/or in the community
o Meaningful service work provided within their community and evidence of interest in future service
• Citizenship: Being a respectful and thoughtful member of their school and local communities
