Attention waterfront drivers: Stop for pedestrians in crosswalks

Police are paying extra attention to Second Street crosswalk

Motorists headed to and from the waterfront should take note.

When pedestrians enter crosswalks, the law requires drivers to stop. Failure to comply could result in a traffic ticket.

A temporary crosswalk located across from Second Street on the Mukilteo Speedway/SR-525 is attracting extra attention from the Mukilteo Police Department due to some drivers' apparent ignorance of the law.
