Knights sweep singles slate against Shorewood | Tennis

Kamiak had the depth in its singles lineup over Shorewood.

All four of the Knights prevailed in their matches to lead Kamiak to a 5-2 victory in a Wesco boys tennis match Thursday, March 11, at Kamiak High School.

Aaron Lee quickly dispatched Chris Combs 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 clash. Josh Lee beat Murray Falkin 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2, and Muhammad Putra prevailed 6-1, 6-3 over David Lin at No. 3.

Muhammad Khairullah rallied for a 2-6, 6-4, 10-6 victory over Tate Nelson at No. 4.

Kamiak's lone win in doubles was at No. 3 with Patrick McCullough and Connor Vaan battling to a 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 win over Zach Boosripisal and Henry Sheffeild.
