Mukilteo Lighthouse Quilters going strong

Diane Cooper made this stack of quilts, which will be donated to one of the charities supported by the Mukilteo Lighthouse Quilters.

They may not be meeting in person right now, but the Mukilteo Lighthouse Quilters are still keeping busy.

The group, which used to gather at the Rosehill Community Center, is making use of technology by having monthly Zoom meetings. Attendance at the online gatherings has nearly doubled since they started in August.

The March 16 Zoom meeting features Sara Nishiura, a Chicago designer and artist, who will present a unique method of quilt design, and discuss her use of thrift store finds.

Not meeting in person has definitely dampened everyone's spirits, however.
