Mukilteo property taxes to rise by almost 10%

Mukilteo homeowners better prepare themselves.

Property taxes are going up.

Mukilteo residents will see a 9.9% increase in their property taxes in 2021, according to information released by the Snohomish County Assessor's Office last week. The increase is the second highest in the county with only Darrington higher at 10%.

The assessed value for houses in Mukilteo increased to $599,600 from $569,300, with the levy rate increasing to 8.7245% from 8.3581%.
