Vaccinations are off to a good start

General public still 1 to 3 months away from being eligible

Dr. George Diaz, Chief of Infectious Diseases at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, receives the first COVID-19 vaccine in Snohomish County on Dec. 18. Dr. Diaz, a resident of Edmonds, treated the first known COVID-19 patient in the U.S. in January 2020.

The specific time that the general public will be eligible to start receiving the COVID-19 vaccine has not yet been finalized.
