The Washington State Legislature begins a regular session Monday, Jan. 11. Due to the ongoing cornonavirus, both the Senate and House of Representatives will operate mostly remotely. 

Committee meetings, floor debate, and votes will all be conducted online.

The 21st Legislative District covers most of Edmonds and part of Snohomish County, including Mukilteo, Lynnwood, and Everett.

For 2021, the House Democratic Caucus elected Rep. Lillian Ortiz-Self (D-Mukilteo) as its new chair.

Ortiz-Self will now have a seat on the Labor and Workplace Standards Committee.
