Rep. Larsen out of quarantine | News Brief

Rep. Rick Larsen (D-Everett) has successfully completed 10 days of quarantine after contracting COVID-19.

In a Jan. 1 statement on his Twitter account, Larsen said, “Today is my Get Out of COVID Jail day. Per CDC guidelines, I have spent 10 days in non-splendid isolation. It is a new year in more ways than one.”

Larsen said that he stayed symptom-free during his 10 days with no fever or chills.

“I am very fortunate,” he said.

Larsen noted that rates of infection dropped from 64.7 per 100,000 to 54.4 per 100,000 in the United States and from 42.8 per 100,000 to 22.8 per 100,00 in...
