Rep. Rick Larsen (D–2nd District) has tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a message from his Twitter account Larsen said, "Yesterday, I received a positive test result for the COVID-19 virus. I am quarantining in accordance with CDC guidelines and am not experiencing any symptoms. I am prepared to vote by proxy in the coming days if the House schedules votes."

Larson, 55, won reelection last month, capturing more than 63% of the vote. He is serving his 11th term in Congress.
