Sound Salmon Solutions is accepting registration for its semiannual Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Lighthouse Park.
One-hour intervals from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. are available. Preregister by Dec. 25 and enter to receive a $25 gift card from Ivar's.
The Polar Bear Plunge has raised $9,000 to support programs that support salmon recovery, habitat restoration and stewardship.
Fees are $30 for adults and $20 for youth. Bring towels, blankets and a change of clothes. Masks and social distancing are required.
