The FDA is considering a vaccine to combat COVID-19. The duration of the review is not yet known but will be open to the public

The FDA is poised to consider a vaccine for COVID-19 on Dec. 10, a medical innovation with the potential power to end the pandemic six to nine months from the approval date.

The duration of that review is not yet known, but the meeting will be open and transparent, and livestreamed for public viewing.

"The FDA recognizes that transparency and dialogue are critical for the public to have confidence in COVID-19 vaccines.
