Funding gap: Council to continue working on budget

The Mukilteo City Council has more work to do on the 2021 final budget.
The city is projecting a $587,000 gap between revenues and expenditures based on the latest numbers presented by Mayor Jennifer Gregerson during Monday’s City Council meeting. In order to close that gap, the city would have to use $587,000 of the ending fund balance (reserves).
