Beacon journalists honored at WNPA conference

Beacon Publishing picked up eight awards last week at the annual Washington Newspaper Publishers Association convention, which was held online.
The Mukilteo Beacon took third place in the prestigious general excellence in the Group 3 category, where Beacon Publishing competes with other weekly newspapers with circulations between 5,001 and 12,500.
Former Mukilteo Editor Brandon Gustafson won two awards.
