The following letter to the editor was written by Mukilteo Elementary student Reece Hubbard as an assignment for a class.

With the rise of COVID-19 and the ever-increasing threat it is imposing on our country and community, the question has arisen; should we wear a mask? The answer is yes and here is why. Without a vaccine currently available for the people of the United States, wearing a mask is the easiest and safest way to protect ourselves.
