Mukilteo ferry pedestrian trail to close for about a month

The Mukilteo ferry pedestrian trail is closing Sept. 21 for about four weeks.
Starting Monday, Sept. 21, the pedestrian trail through the new Mukilteo ferry terminal site will close for up to four weeks for pedestrian handrail installation work.
Crews will close the pedestrian trail to continue work on a wall along the south edge of the new Mukilteo terminal.
The new terminal is scheduled to open later this year.
In addition, a key route to Mukilteo terminal will be closed overnight.
Plan for a quick detour if you use State Route 526/Boeing Freeway to get to the Mukilteo terminal after sunset.
