Weller to bid farewell | From the Archives

After a career serving his community, café owner to call it quits

Joe Weller keeps his customers' cups full of coffee before the sun rises Jan. 10 at Weller's Café in Mukilteo. Weller plans to close the café Jan. 15 after 16 years in business.

Like clockwork, Joe Weller has risen at 4 a.m. six days a week for the past 16 years to serve breakfast at Weller's Café along the Mukilteo Speedway.
