OK, we’ve now entered the “graduation season.” That is the time when all parents and grandparents are subjected to the most inane boring never-ending speeches done by grammar school, middle school and high school graduates.

Now before you all attack me for raining on your individual and highly personal parades, I must say that when one’s child or grandchild graduates from school, it is hard to be especially interested in speeches by all the other kids.

I will occasionally pick up the Beacon when traveling thru Mukilteo as I have always enjoyed Chuck Sigars essays. Then I saw this one; good grief; Gould get off Eeyore, send him packing, and go down to the beach; graduations are milestone events in Life; and to submit this now especially for those HS seniors who missed out on their graduation ceremonies; I have heard many many inspiring addresses at graduations.
