School Board president sees benefits to having police in schools

In the wake of the death of George Floyd and the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement, it's not surprising that the Mukilteo School District has received letters advocating the removal of police officers from the district's schools.
School resource officers are located at Kamiak and Mariner high schools and Explorer Middle School.
