Mukilteo should stand up for Black Lives | Guest View

Police violence against people of color, particularly Black people, is nothing new. It has been woven into the fabric of American life since the nation's birth, and it continues to erode the ideals that Americans strive for. It is 2020, and still there are cases of Black people dying for no reason other than the unfounded fear that a Black person jogging, or grocery shopping, or bird-watching, or sleeping in their bed is somehow a threat to the life of a white person.
