Mukilteo marches for racial equality, social justice

Protesters demand change, declare that Black Lives Matter

The message from Mukilteo's Peaceful Protest was loud and clear – racism has no place in America.

The overriding theme of Sunday's march was of people of all colors coming together for social justice and protesting of the death of George Floyd, an African American, who died after a white policeman pinned him under his knee for almost nine minutes.

"This isn't about black versus white," said Joshua Binda, a 2017 Kamiak High School graduate, who spoke at the rally. "This is about humanity versus racism."
