Mukilteo needs to address waterfront, Paine Field issues | Guest View

With the arrival of spring in a COVID-19 pandemic, the Mukilteo waterfront is experiencing higher than normal usage. As construction resumes on the new ferry terminal and Dreamlifter flights continue at Paine Field, there’s plenty of opportunity for improvement.
I’ve noticed a lot of people looking at the two “Mukilteo Waterfront Future Development” maps on the construction site fence, trying to make sense out of it all. There are two city projects pictured that aren’t going to happen but first, we need to discuss the Mukilteo Lane access and safety issues.
