Kamiak hires new girls basketball coach

Kamiak High School has hired May Tupua as its new head girls basketball coach.
Tupua has been the junior varsity and assistant varsity girls basketball coach at Lynnwood High School the last three seasons. She also has been coaching a Seattle Swarm AAU girls basketball team, and she is on the board of the Lake Stevens girls basketball feeder team, where she and her family live.
Tupua works at Boeing where she is a senior manager. She was a three-sport athlete at Lynnwood High School, and a member of a girls basketball team that took sixth at state.
