Two children were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following an accident Monday morning.
The Mukilteo Fire Department responded to a call for aid at 10:50 a.m., April 20, in the 2600 block of Mukilteo Speedway. Initial information indicated that two children had been swinging on a rope swing, the rope broke and dropped them into trees in the ravine next door.
Fire and police units arrived to find an 11-year-old boy with a suspected back injury and a 7-year-old girl with a suspected leg injury. Both were out of the tree prior to arrival.
