Mariner wasn’t playing its best basketball at the end of the regular season.
After going 9-1 in their first 10 Wesco 4A games, the Marauders won only two of their last four league contests.
Unfortunately, Mariner’s inconsistency continued in the postseason where the Marauders were eliminated by Mount Si 66-51 in a loser-out 4A Wes-King District boys basketball tournament game Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The loss to the Kingco No. 1 seed followed a first-round defeat to Inglemoor.
