Navigating the last part

I gave a friend a ride home the other night, traversing unfamiliar streets in the dark the old-fashioned way. That is, he told me where to turn.
This was mildly embarrassing for a couple of reasons, the first being that I had no idea where I was. I was 15 miles from home and completely disoriented, which will come as no surprise to my family or anyone, really, who has ever watched me walk to the mailbox. I have some deficiencies.
And I knew, without question, that I would have preferred an electronic navigator.
For someone like me, using GPS for even simple trips is an easy choice. A pleas...
