4 scouts soar at Eagle Court of Honor ceremony

At a time when the Boy Scouts of America is struggling with controversy and bankruptcy, it's heartening to hear about young men who demonstrate the ideals of scouting – Scout Spirit – based on the Scout Oath and Law, service and leadership.
Four local scouts did just that on Saturday when they were awarded the Eagle Scout badge, the highest achievement attainable in the Scouts BSA program. Only 4% of scouts ever reach that rank, which requires a lengthy review process
