Marauders execute well early on against Wolfpack

Mariner has some good moments against Jackson.

The Marauders hung in against the Timberwolves for much of the first half before the Wolfpack pulled away for a 55-17 victory in a Wesco 4A girls basketball game Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Mariner High School.

Marauders coach Jamie Gepner liked how her team ran its offense.

"Our girls attacked the rim quite well," she said. "We didn't settle for jump shots. Offensively, we scored a few early points. We played strong defense."
