Suspicious barrel

An officer responded to Legacy Roofing for a report of a sealed barrel that showed up on the property three days ago. There were no identifying marks on the barrel and it had been placed next to the businesses recycle bin on the 4400 block of Russell Road. The officer had the fire department respond and they were unable to get any temperature reading on the barrel. The officer contacted the Department of Ecology who advised they would not respond unless there was liquid or other type substance leaking from the barrel, which there was not.
