Children's book educates kids on dangers facing the ocean
Mukilteo native Casson Trenor publishes ‘Umijoo’

Mukilteo native Casson Trenor recently published a children’s book called “Umijoo,” a tale of a curious girl who, with the help of a little magic, journeys underwater to learn about the dangers facing the ocean.
Trenor said he created the book to educate future generations on the importance of protecting the world’s oceans. He read the story aloud at Rosehill Community Center Dec. 12.
