Community Cat Coalition shares Christmas cheer with foster cats

The Community Cat Coalition opened its annual Home for the Holidays event Nov. 22 at the Harbour Pointe Shopping Center. It will stay open on weekends until Dec. 22.

Members from all over the community have stopped by to partake in the feline frenzy and take pictures with Santa. People across the county and beyond have donated toys, beds, and food for the foster cats.

Event director Kathleen Shaw said all the monetary donations go to the cats. The volunteer-run organization brings together sponsors and partners of animal-related groups to provide the community with information about caring...
