Mariner hopes to rely on its speed and work ethic

When it comes to rebounding, the Mariner girls basketball team is simply going to have to outwork the opposition.
The Marauders graduated most of their height from last year with 5-foot-9 senior Tina Duangmani their tallest player.
Mariner instead will be relying on its team speed and hustle on the boards.
The Marauders appear to be up for the challenge.
"We have a lot of people that are pretty quick on the court," Duangmani said. "That kind of makes up for the height."
Second-year head coach Jamie Gepner added that Mariner needs to have an aggressive mindset.
