Snohomish PUD hosts LED Holiday Lights Exchange Dec. 6

Snohomish PUD is helping to make the holidays a little brighter and greener this year. Customers will be able to trade up to five strands of incandescent holiday lights for energy efficient LEDs.

The PUD will host the LED Holiday Lights Exchange between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 6. The PUD said they will hand out up to 10,000 strands of multicolor and white lights while supplies last.

LED holiday lights use 75% less energy than conventional incandescent strands, lowering customers’ energy usage and saving money on winter PUD bills. LED holiday lights also last up to 10 times longer, reduce...
