South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary Club selected two students from ACES High School to be recognized as September and October students of the month.
Bennett Scott is the September recipient and Brianne Mizerski for October.
Scott leads a balanced life with many hobbies, including learning about cars,
listening to music, and camping. He is a hard-working student with a rigorous course load, the Rotary club said.
His current advanced government class has contributed to his interest in a possible future in politics. Scott is also intrigued by the idea of becoming a mechanic or engineer.
"Way to go Bennet Scott," the club said.
Mizerski is very active at her high school, as well as the school district. She serves as an ASB officer and volunteers at the school in many ways. She has helped to beautify the school grounds and set up and support events, while also serving on the district's nutrition and wellness committee.
Brianna has a strong work-life balance as she works while attending school, the club said.
Upon graduation, Brianna plans to enroll in college to study to become a veterinarian.
She is recognized most favorably by her peers and teachers – one of her teachers describes Brianna as "hardworking and serves as a role model for other students in her class."
"Congratulations Brianna Mizerski," the club said.
