Giant menorah to light up Lynnwood

Chabad of Snohomish County will light up one of 15,000 public menorahs worldwide, symbolizing a universal message of religious freedom and tolerance at the Lynnwood City Hall 4 p.m. Dec. 22. 

The eighth annual menorah lighting celebration will feature the kindling of the giant nine-foot menorah, delicious holiday treats, traditional latkes, doughnuts, face painting, and light up Hannukah glasses for the kids. Personal menorahs and dreidels will be available.

There will be a Hannukah musical performance by the Seattle-based Klez Katz Klezmer band. Remarks will be shared by Rabbi Berel Palti...
