Senior standout wins 200 freestyle, claims Knights' first individual crown since 2010

Kamiak's Elli Straume joined some pretty elite company last weekend.
The senior became only the third female swimmer or diver in school history to win an individual state title.
Straume finished first in the 200-yard freestyle at the 4A State Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday, Nov. 16, at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
She also took home a second-place medal in the 100 freestyle and helped the Knights' 200 and 400 freestyle relays to a pair of top 8 finishes.
