Kamiak earns two 4A state alternate berths | Tennis

Kamiak came up just short of a pair of berths to the 4A state boys tennis tournament.

Instead, three Knights – singles player Joshua Lee and the doubles team of Aaron Lee and Jaeden Tongco – will serve as alternates to the state tournament.

Joshua Lee lost 6-0, 6-2 to Glacier Peak's Dario Ristovski in the second/third place singles match at the 4A Northwest District tournament Thursday, Oct. 24, at Glacier Peak High School.

Lee opened the tournament with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Monroe's Parker Butterfield and then took down Lake Stevens' Micah Bair 6-0, 6-2. Lee lost to eventual champ...
